Happy 2022

Open Positions at J Street Dental Group - Midtown Sacramento, CA

Happy 2022—can you believe March is right around the corner?! We would like to take this time to sincerely thank you for your continued support and patience over the past two years—most notably over the last several months.

How We’re Doing and What We’ve Been Up to…

Just when many of us thought there was a light at the end of the tunnel, we were faced with another aggressive bout of COVID-19 and its lingering challenges. Some of the obstacles we’ve recently endured, just to name a few, are staffing shortages, reduced hours of operation due to illness, and employees who’ve decided to leave our practice out of necessity or due to geographic relocation. Working in healthcare has not been easy on anyone’s physical or mental health; however, through it all, our dedication to our patients has not wavered. Because of a kind and compassionate individual like yourself, navigating these challenges has been a little easier and has given us the strength to persevere.

During this unprecedented time, our practice was forced to adapt and re-examine our safety protocols, security systems, and overall patient experience. In doing so, we’ve made great strides in improving patient safety by adding brighter exterior lighting to help better illuminate the parking lot. Further, we’ve added camera systems and a buzzer system to ward off trespassers. Most importantly, we continue to adapt our COVID-19 procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of our staff and patients. For example, we routinely spray the office with aerosolized disinfectant and screen our patients to prevent COVID-19 exposures. Additionally, we continue to utilize PPE and have added Vipers (Extraoral High-Velocity Suction & Purification Machine) in each hygiene room.

Where We’re Going and What to Expect in the Future…

In other news, we have exciting transitions and milestones taking place at J Street Dental Group. As you may have noticed, we legally changed the name of the practice to J Street Dental Group. Under this new name, you can expect to encounter the same family-oriented, compassionate, and dedicated dental professionals who will continue to bring cutting-edge technology and superior service to the community. Further, we want to congratulate Dr. Pam on her retirement and thank her for faithfully serving DiTomasso Dental and the community for over 40 years. We wish her all the best in her next phase of life and hope she enjoys this time with her family and friends! Dr. Stella continues to provide the same excellent care to our patients that she did for 30 plus years with Dr. Pam.

The majority of our original team is still here to answer any questions and ease concerns you may have and provide the same great care you are accustomed to. Dr. Hofmann brings a wealth of knowledge and youth with her to the practice and her gentle touch puts her patients at ease. Dr. Alizadeh and Dr. Saleh as a husband and wife team and the new managing dentist of the practice bring a new array of services to help provide our patients with the optimum dental care. With over 15 years of experience treating children, Dr. Saleh loves seeing our pediatric patients and setting them up for successful dental visits. Dr. Alizadeh has extensive training in full, partial, and implant-retained dentures and most root canals and full mouth rehabilitation cases.

Additionally, J Street Dental is very proud to announce that we have Dr. Visage on board. He limits his practice to Periodontics to perform all of our implants and advanced periodontal therapy services in-house! At J Street Dental we continue to challenge ourselves and improve our offerings by providing new services to our patients. We have added a state-of-the-art CT scanner and Panorex machine to provide us with more accurate and detailed x-rays and imaging. Notably, we are pleased to share that the new handheld x-ray machines significantly reduced the amount of radiation exposure. Finally, nitrous oxide is back and better than ever! We recognize that coming to the dentist can be associated with some anxiety, and a few of our doctors are certified in providing oral conscious sedation.

Here at J Street Dental, we are enthusiastically navigating all of the challenges and new successes that 2022 has presented so far. We look forward to serving our patients and the community by providing top-notch dental care.
