Dr. Kayla Keppler grew up in north-central Washington State. A true Pacific Northwest native, she was raised with a love of coffee, music, and outdoor recreation. Throughout high school and college, she worked for her aunt’s winery, building her passion for the west coast wine industry. After graduating with honors and a BS in Microbiology from Washington State University, Dr. Keppler traveled south to pursue a lifelong dream and attended dental school at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

During her time in dental school, Dr. Keppler received extensive training in all facets of general dentistry, including laser dentistry, endodontics, surgery, Invisalign, and CAD/CAM. She graduated with highest honors and received the Digital Dentistry Award, the American Association of Women Dentists Award, and she was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Following graduation, Dr. Keppler and her fiancé moved to Greensburg, Pennsylvania where she practiced for two years. She enjoys practicing all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to staying current on the newest techniques through continuing education. Dr. Keppler is also a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is overjoyed to be back on the west coast and pursuing her passions with the J Street Team!

As a dentist, she enjoys forming close connections with her patients, and she strives to make appointments comfortable and fun.

Dr. Keppler and her fiancé, Dr. Lance Metsger, now live in Rocklin with their sweet kitty Gracie “The Love Sponge”. Self-proclaimed foodies, hikers, and skiers they are constantly exploring all that Northern California has to offer!
