Registered Dental Hygienist

Our practice has been thriving in midtown for over 30 years. Centrally located in a beautiful building on 26th/J St , we offer FREE parking for employees as well as easy freeway access. Our fun and GROWING practice is looking for a hygienist to help our patients keep their biggest and brightest smiles! Our thriving group dental practice in the heart of Midtown Sacramento is seeking a motivated, results-oriented Operations Manager to escort our team to higher levels of performance and growth. The ideal candidate will inspire and lead a large dental team, both clinical and administrative, to meet our strategic and financial goals. The ideal candidate takes appropriate action to maximize production and collection efforts while ensuring delivery of optimum dental care in a private setting by providing support and feedback to our business team leader, as well as coordinating with the leadership team in our clinical department. The candidate will support and uphold our healthy and positive culture, team values, and agreements. The candidate will maintain the front office systems, structure, and flow to support the operations of the practice. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The candidate will communicate with all team leaders and the CEO of the company on daily basis.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintains an appropriate ratio of team members to production weekly to allow for the efficient flow of operations.
  • Ensures practice meets its financial goals.

  • Maintains smooth effective/efficient daily operations.

Maintains an appropriate ratio of team members to production weekly.

  • Reviews the schedule a week ahead and adjusts team members accordingly based on scheduled production.
  • Front office to back-office ratio – 1 front office for every 2 operatories scheduled up to the maximum existing staffing. Monitors the exceptions for a
  • potential interview and hires additional staffing as needed.
  • Monitors to ensure that productivity exceeds 75% of Staffing Costs per week
  • Reports BAM (internal team incentive plan) on a weekly basis
  • Reports Slide/Target information to team daily

Ensures practice meets its financial goals

  • Manages daily tracking and reports daily where the practice is at with actual production to goal production.
  • Communicates, adjusting daily based on production/collection, areas of opportunity to the team to ensure we achieve our target 95% scheduled to
  • goal daily.
  • Monitors and manages inbound cash flow/collections.
  • Monitors to ensure profit/loss meets or exceeds bottom line set goals.
  • Operates within a strict budget on controllable costs that are monitored weekly.

  • All cancelations are addressed with questions and objections solved and monitored.
  • Monitor the Hygiene department to increase recare efficiency percentage.
  • The recare efficiency goal for the practice is 90%.
  • Monitor and coach collection to maintain 98% + monthly.

  • View schedules to determine patient flow and ensure staffing adjustments accordingly, ensuring patients are seen timely, with a goal of no patient

  • Ensures supplies are kept stocked to ensure patient time is used efficiently, not being delayed because of insufficient supplies.

Ensures and monitors patients’ “extraordinary experience” in their interface with the practice.

  • Track patient retention to achieve 90%
  • Track daily surveys to exceed expectations
  • Track patient referrals to encourage <50% internal referrals.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred

How we will use information about you?

Data retention (how long will you use my information for)
