Dr. Maryam Saleh
Dr. Saleh grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduating with her biology degree from Penn State University, she continued dental school at New York University College of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Saleh completed a one-year residency program at University Medical Center in Fresno, Ca. Then after completing her residency, she relocated to Roseville and began practicing in the greater Sacramento area almost 20 years ago.
Dr. Saleh focuses her practice on comprehensive preventative care. She enjoys caring for families, including children as young as 1-year-old. As a mother herself, her mission is to set kids up for a lifetime of oral health and successful dental visits. Dr. Saleh is passionate about continuing education and keeping up with the latest technological advances to help her patients get the best care. This includes an intraoral scanner with cavity detection ability without radiation, digital X-rays with AI capability, non-metal restorations, and custom whitening, to name a few.
She is a Platinum Plus provider of Invisalign Clear Aligners, allowing patients to achieve healthy and protective bites without compromising their tooth structure. She offers nitrous oxide gas to her patients that have dental anxiety. She is also a certified provider of oral conscious sedation.
Dr. Saleh is currently a Fellow at the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction bestowed on only 6% of dentists in North America, and on track to become a Master at the Academy, which includes less than 2% of general dentists. She has completed over 1100 hours of continuing education and passed a board certification exam to accomplish these accolades.
In her free time, Dr. Saleh spends time with her husband, Dr. Ashkan Alizadeh, whom she met in dental school, and their three school-age children. Her weekends are filled with soccer games, birthday parties, and playdates. She enjoys traveling, cooking, exercising, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines. Dr. Saleh is looking forward to meeting you and your family.
